Stimulus Children's Theatre Presents "High School Musical"
"Disney Channel's smash hit movie musical comes to life on the Penn stage! Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High must deal with issues of first love, friends and family while balancing their classes and extracurricular activities. The Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes find their cliques, recount their vacations and look forward to the new year. Basketball team captain and resident jock, Troy, discovers that the brainy Gabriella, a girl he met singing karaoke on his ski trip, has just enrolled at East High. They cause an upheaval when they decide to audition for the high school musical that is being led by Ms. Darbus. Although many students resent the threat posed to the 'status quo,' Troy and Gabriella's alliance might just open the door for others to shine as well."
Tickets are $8 for people aged 12+. People younger than 12, TAC-e members, and groups of 8+ can purchase $5 tickets. Tickets can be purchased online. Online ticket link will be posted shortly.
TO ATTEND A STUDENT PERFORMING ARTS PERFORMANCE DURING THE FALL 2021 SEMESTER, ALL AUDIENCE MEMBERS MUST:
-Wear a mask
-Complete a symptom tracker and present a Green Penn OpenPass (Penn community) or Green Penn OpenCampus (outside Penn community)
-Attest to having received the Covid vaccine (some venues require proof of vaccination card)
-Share their name, email address, and phone number, in the event that contact tracing is necessary.
