Recruitment Process 

Penn Student Agencies has two main recruitment periods:

Fall Semester Start

PSA recruits for open positions vacated by graduating Seniors over the Summer Months. The main on-campus recruiting period typically takes place in late August during NSO and Move-In. This year due to the COVID pandemic, PSA's recruitment efforts will be virtual. We encourage those interest to follow our social media pages for updates. 

Candidates who go through this recruiting period typically will start working for PSA in September. PSA typically offers between 40 to 60 positions for our Fall New Hire Cohort. Due to the ongoing pandemic and business operations, we expect this number to be reduced this year. 

Applications Open on: July 21st, 2020 at 12:00AM EST

Applications Due by: August 28th, 2020 at 5:00PM EST

Interviews Offers Extended by: August 29th, 2020

Virtual Interviews Conducted on: August 30th, 2020 & August 31st, 2020

Candidates Notified of Status by: September 2nd, 2020 by 5:00PM EST


Spring Semester Start 

PSA recruits for newly open or anticipated soon-to-open positions in November. The main on-campus recruiting period typically takes place in late in the weeks leading up to Winter Break and the first week back in the Spring. 

Candidates who go through this recruiting period typically will start working for PSA in January or February. PSA typically offers up to 15 positions for our Spring New Hire Cohort. However, due to the pandemic's impacts on the Fall semester we expect this number to increase to roughly 30 to 40 positions.

Recruitment Events 

We hold Recruitment Receptions about our organization, its businesses, and its community; usually lasting around an hour. These receptions allow you to meet current members of the student Board of Directors and the PSA Talent Acquisition Team.

Depending on our hiring timeline for the academic year, some recruitment receptions are followed by a PSA Interview Prep Sessions.

  • Virtual Programming Dates will be announced in early August 2020. 

Upcoming PSA Interview Prep Sessions

Our business leadership teams highly recommend interested candidates who have applied or plan to apply to a PSA business or the Executive Suite attend an Interview Prep Session. These sessions will explain the format of the interview and provide tips on how to stand out during the process.
