We have a five-year renewal plan for all offices in VPUL.
VPULTS also redistributes technologies to meet departmental needs.
New software and hardware technologies are planned, evaluated, and installed.
We provide software upgrades to meet VPUL needs described by the following: Desktop publishing, Graphical Editing Image Resolution,
Optical Character Recognition Software, Diagram and Object Design, Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Publisher,
Web development/maintenance, General Communication Tools like Internet Explorer and Host Explorer, Statistical such as SAS and SPSS,
Penn Systems encompassing Ben, SRS, Payroll, Pillar, and Data Warehouse, Email/Client software, and Electronic Calendaring.
Periodically provide end-user training for VPUL's standard set of software
Provide unit-specific software training as necessary
VPULTS develops and offers in-depth training classes such as "Computing in VPUL" and sometimes on-site training, when budget allows for it.
We manage training space for Divisional and non-Divisional use.
Our disposal policy is followed strictly as per university policy guidelines.
